Life Spot: Just 1 Click

Are you a young person who cares about what's going in your school, neighborhood, town or city? Do you love sports and being active? Do you like to volunteer, get involved or find create ways to inspire positive community change by using sports? If you do, join the Play City community of young folks who care, too. This platform is full of exciting ways to get involved:

Just 1 Click is a monthly campaign to celebrate the work of great nonprofit organizations. From supporting environmental action projects to advocating for disability rights organizations, Just 1 Click is an easy way for anyone with an internet connection to make a difference.

How it works:

Each month, YouthNoise supports a new organization through Just 1 Click. We provide information about the featured organization, including a short description, images, a video clip, and ways to take action. We also encourage our friends and networks to click on a big orange button. If users click the button 100,000 times over the course of the month, YouthNoise awards $500 to support the featured organization.

Users and YN staff members nominate great organizations for Just 1 Click by tweeting #Just1Click nominations to @YouthNoise or posting nominations to the YouthNoise Facebook wall. Three nominated nonprofits are entered into a monthly poll that lives on the Just 1 Click Thank You page. For the first two weeks of the month, Just 1 Click participants vote for next month's featured nonprofit.

If a featured organization earns less than 100,000 clicks in a month, they will receive a portion of the donation. For example, an organization earning 80,000 clicks will receive $400. $500 is the maximum donation an organization can earn through Just 1 Click.
