* TIMING: SNOW INCREASING THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING OVERNIGHT...THEN TAPERING OFF BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* WINDS: SOUTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH. SOUTHWEST WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE OVER HIGHER MOUNTAIN ELEVATIONS.
* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: MOTHERLODE FROM GRASS VALLEY TO SONORA. INTERSTATE 80 AND HIGHWAY 50...AREAS ALONG HIGHWAY 49.
