• 825,268 people like you signed our open letter to Congress demanding an end to the attacks on Planned Parenthood and women's health.
  
• At least 45,923 people made phone calls to Congress to make sure they got the message.
  
• Thousands joined the Planned Parenthood Truth Tour as the big pink bus stopped for events in 27 towns and cities from Milwaukee to New Orleans, including 4,000 supporters who made their voices heard at the Stand Up for Women's Health Rally in Washington, DC, on April 7.
  
• Countless women and men from around the country gave time and money, spread the word on Facebook and Twitter, told personal stories about how Planned Parenthood changed their lives, and did everything possible to stand up for Planned Parenthood.

Sacramento Planned Parenthood Capitol Day 2011!

Show your support and stand with Planned Parenthood by joining California in Sacramento for Planned Parenthood Capitol Day 2011!

Last year over 900 Planned Parenthood supporters, staff, parents and teens gathered in Sacramento to raise their voices in support of Planned Parenthood. Are you ready to join us this year?

Sign up now! Participation includes a free t-shirt and bag, free lunch, and more importantly the opportunity to make a difference for reproductive health care in California. Make friends and meet people from across the state - participate in the education workshops! 

Planned Parenthood Capitol Day is the perfect opportunity to talk with legislators about the many preventive health care services offered by Planned Parenthood and issues important to Californians.

When: 9am-3pm Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Where: Sacramento, CA

Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Capitol Day. Street parking is available around the Capitol with the purchase of a parking pass (use green kiosks). The nearest parking garage is located on 10th and L Streets (enter on 10th Street). Bus and light rail stops are within walking distance. If you need financial assistance with transportation please contact us immediately.
